Class Work Contributions from Groups Devices used to create suspense by movie directors in mysteries, adventure and sci-fi movies 1 Dialogues – fast and loud, intense 2 Lighting – dim setting, silhouette, 3 Music – orchestra – determines the moods intended for each setting/situation 4 Facial expressions –e.g: looks of shock, sadness, joy ( range of human emotions) 5 Camera angles – focus on a specific area; eg: zoomed in on the clothes sprawled on the bathroom floor, instead of the half-naked man straightaway 6 Movements – slow movement of the camera angle, or movement of the actors 7 Language – dark language which suggests dead or impending danger to imbue fear Please add to the post what you have from the viewing of THE MATRIX.
